Spring Spa is more than a place to book a massage or facial, it’s a sanctuary designed for stillness, connection, and renewal.
“Spring was born from the vision of Ina Bajaj, a pioneer in spa and wellness, who dreamed of creating a modern spa experience, one that feels fresh, restorative, and beautifully considered,” shares Andy Grant, CEO of Spring Spa & East Day Spa.
From a single spa in New Zealand to an award-winning brand now spanning New Zealand and Bali, Spring has become internationally recognised for blending modern design, results-driven treatments, and genuine warmth.
“Our mission is to create more than treatments. We want to offer moments of stillness, connection, and renewal.”
Andy describes leading Spring as both a privilege and a responsibility, carrying forward Ina’s original vision while steering the brand into its next chapter.

“My focus is on guiding Spring into its next chapter, expanding our global presence, refining every touchpoint of the experience,” he explains. That includes the recent launch of Spring School in Bali, a training academy dedicated to nurturing local talent. “It’s about equipping young Indonesians with the skills and opportunities to grow within our industry, opening doors to both local and international careers.”
Looking ahead, Spring is planning to expand into new markets, grow its training pipeline, and launch Spring Body, a results-driven and sustainable product line.
Walk into any Spring spa and you’ll instantly feel the difference. The spaces are light, calm, and modern, designed to balance serene escape with a social, welcoming vibe.
“What makes Spring different is the feeling you get as soon as you walk through the door. It’s calm, beautiful, and welcoming. It’s an atmosphere that feels special,” Andy says.
That’s not by accident. Every detail, from architecture to interiors, is designed to feel effortless. Treatments, meanwhile, are curated to deliver real results, whether it’s their CODAGE Facify Facial, Active Recovery Massage, or cult-favourite POD menu.

“For first-time guests, I always recommend our CODAGE Facify Facial. It’s one of our signature treatments, relaxing yet results-focused. And our Active Recovery Massage is perfect if you’re travel-worn or simply need to reset,” Andy suggests.
At the core of Spring is its people – therapists, trainers, reception staff, and the management team who bring a culture of genuine care to life. “The core of Spring is our team. Many of our team members have grown with us over the years, and through Spring School, we’re proud to be mentoring the next generation too,” Andy says.
It’s this combination of thoughtful design, results-led treatments, and heartfelt hospitality that has made Spring a trusted name for spa-goers in both Bali and New Zealand.
Ultimately, Andy hopes guests walk away with a feeling, more than anything else.
“I hope that the moment someone steps into Spring, they feel an instant exhale, a moment to breathe and slow down,” he reflects.
Spring may be beautifully designed and globally recognised, but its essence is simple: a space where you feel at home.

And what are Andy’s top 5 things to do, as someone who lives, works and loves the Bali life?
- It’s all about where and when to eat & drink! “Bali’s food and beverage scene is one of the best in the world. A long lunch, a sunset dinner, or a famed Sunday brunch is always high on my list.”
- Set the alarm and get up early! “For me, early mornings in Bali are pure magic. Just before sunrise, the island is peaceful and cool – it’s the best time for the gym, a beach walk, or soaking up the stillness.”
- Sunsets on the island are just as special, watch them from clifftop bars or a picnic on the sand.
- Day trips away from the crowds to places like Sidemen, Karangasem, or Virgin Beach are perfect for slowing down.
- And, of course, a spa day: “Moments of self-care are essential in a busy schedule, and carving out time for yourself is a must.”
