I get asked all the time which AI tools make the biggest difference in my creative work. Here’s my honest breakdown of the apps I rely on—from brainstorming to building, editing, and automating.
The Motherboard
- ChatGPT – My central hub. I use it for strategy, writing, content creation, idea generation, and integration across everything else. It’s where all my work flows start.
Video Creation & Editing
- CapCut – Quick, intuitive video editing with AI-powered templates and captions. Great for social content.
- Pika – AI video generation for creating cinematic, animated, or stylised content fast.
- HeyGen – AI avatars and voiceover videos. Perfect for turning scripts into polished, professional explainer or promo videos.
Audio & Music
- Suno – AI music creation. I use this to make soundtracks, jingles, or background music without needing a composer.
Design & Decks
- Canva Magic Studio – AI-powered design inside Canva (presentations, social posts, resizing, brand kits).
- Gamma – AI presentation and pitch deck builder that auto-formats and makes decks look slick in minutes.
No-Code Apps & Sites
- Glide – Build simple mobile apps fast, no coding required.
- Lovable – Another no-code tool for quickly prototyping apps.
- Replit – Drag-and-drop website builder powered by AI for quick launches.
Automation & Integration
- Zapier – Connects different tools and automates workflows (though many of these flows are now starting to be native inside ChatGPT).
