Tell us about your family. How many Kids?
My husband, our 12-year-old girl, 10-year-old boy, 7-year-old girl, and our Vizsla puppy called Dixie.
What’s the part of being a mum that fills you up the most?
Watching my children excel in their various pursuits. They honestly amaze me with their accomplishments.
What’s one thing that genuinely helps you stay afloat in the day-to-day juggle?
My mum! We moved from London to Australia eight years ago and although we assumed we would live in a major city, we ended up creating a completely different life here.

How do you carve out space for career, motherhood, love, friends, and still find a moment for you?
Sometimes it’s difficult and work takes over, and sometimes I am able to be really present with my children.
My job allows flexibility, but balance is always something I’m consciously working on.
Where do you find fashion that genuinely feels like you?
To be very honest, although I love fashion and work in the industry, I am very much a blue jeans and simple white tank kind of girl.
What does living a healthy, grounded life look like in your world?
Being in the outdoors. I am at peace in the ocean. I also run, play fairly competitive netball and do reformer Pilates every week.

How do you keep your body moving in a way that feels realistic and sustainable?
I just enjoy working out. My first career was as a professional dancer for over 15 years, so moving my body is second nature to me.
What’s one non-negotiable that keeps your mind and body well?
Being outdoors every day. That’s definitely easier now that I live in Queensland. Australia and the weather is generally pretty kind to us.
When you think of ‘balance’, what does that actually mean to you in real life?
Taking the time limit off “balance”.
I can’t always have balance in one day, but over a week I can create more balance and flow.
What does your morning routine look like, honestly?
Coming from London, my husband and I still haven’t been able to adjust to the coastal early mornings.
How do you wind down at night, what does your evening routine look like?

What’s something about you that would genuinely surprise people?
My first career was as a dancer. I won a scholarship to a full-time college at 16 and moved to London on my own.
What’s a truth about yourself that took you years to finally admit?
My hair is curly. Really curly. I even fought it for a few years of living in high humidity Australia, but in the last four years I’ve finally embraced it.
When do you feel most like the truest version of you?
With friends and family on a beach. Speaker kicking out music, children being wildlings, swimming in the ocean.
What’s a single moment that quietly shifted the direction of your life?
My youngest child starting school.
I had worked as a successful makeup artist for many years, had been represented by agencies and quietly wondered if I could take something like that on myself. When all my children were finally at school I knew I would be able to dedicate myself to building the edit.

What’s a mistake you’re genuinely grateful you made?
Every mistake I make is like a carving in stone. It teaches you lessons that you never forget. Mistakes can be painful but they are the best learning tools.
What’s one boundary that completely changed your life?
I’m still trying to teach myself to switch off after “work” hours, but I have become much better at closing my laptop and being present with my family.
What part of yourself do you judge the most (if you do), and why do you think you do?
I am a reactive person and I think it will be a lifetime of work to change that about myself.
Being reactive can negatively affect the people around you, especially the people you love most.
What’s something you pretend you don’t care about, but secretly do?
What’s something about you that people would never guess?
I am an outwardly confident person but I care deeply what people think of me.
If you could live an entirely different life for a year, what would you choose?
To be a travelling family. I don’t have the patience to create a social media presence, but I would LOVE to travel the world with my family for a year.

What’s something that still feels uncomfortable, but you’re pushing yourself to do anyway?
The human resources part of owning a business. I imagine it will always be tricky. I care deeply about my talent and my clients, and navigating people can sometimes feel overwhelming.
What’s a version of yourself you’re trying to become?
Calmer at home and better at networking at work.
When you think about your younger self, what do you wish she knew?
I don’t! I wouldn’t want to ruin all the beautiful surprises for her.
I truly live an incredible life and I am grateful every day for where I’ve ended up.
What’s the hardest part of motherhood for you to admit out loud?
Sometimes I don’t want to be near them. I want them to leave me alone and I don’t want to deal with them. But that passes quickly and the guilt is very real.
What’s a small joy that gets you through this season of life?
Bedtimes. I know lots of families struggle with bedtimes, but I adore lying in bed with each child and reading a book and chatting about their day.
The 5 things in your bag you can’t leave home without
Okay, as much as I’d love to list my favourite brands, if I’m being real, this is what’s actually in my bag right now:
- iPhone
- YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils
- Luv Lou The Banks sunglasses
- Sol Sista Butta Block
- Gentle Habits perfume
Visit, Buy, DoIf you could visit anywhere, buy anything, and do something just for you, what would they be?
I’m desperate to visit India. I’ve been meaning to buy some Prada loafers for the last few months, and I’d love to learn to surf really well.

What inspired you to start the edit. MANAGEMENT?
Knowing all the things I always wanted an agent to do for me as a makeup artist.
I also knew there was space in the industry to build an agency based in QLD. Although we now represent artists across all major cities in Australia, this began as a way of shining light on the incredible talent here.
what’s the biggest challenge?
Being responsible for others. I feel a great weight to get my artists as much quality work as possible. Many sleepless nights come with owning a business.
what’s the best thing?
Feeling such pride when we book a big job and thinking, “I do know what I’m doing!”

Can you share anything that’s coming up for you?
One of our artists has a shoot with Vogue about to be published, and our photographer India shot an international fashion campaign recently, which has been incredibly exciting for us.
