Tell us about your family. How many Kids?
I have two boys: Romulus (4) and Louie (2), and my husband, Chris, and I have been together for 12 years. I’ve been living in California for the past 16 years.
Adjusting to motherhood..
The biggest adjustment when I became a mum was the lack of sleep in those early days.
As someone who really depends on good rest, it hit hard.
Now that my boys are a bit older, things feel much more manageable… and now the challenge has shifted to making sure I carve out time for myself.
How do you manage the juggle?
I went back to work part-time around three months postpartum. What helped most was breaking everything down into small, manageable to-do lists. They were never overwhelming — sometimes as simple as “send three emails today”… but it made the transition back into work, and back into that mindset, feel much more doable.

The best thing about motherhood?
The bold and unconditional love that your heart can have for your child.
The biggest challenge?
About 5 months after my first child was born, I went through severe postpartum depression.
I had intrusive thoughts, felt completely detached from everything and everyone, and went down one of the darkest paths I’ve been.
The biggest surprise?
One of the most surprising things I learned about becoming a mum was the brain fog that comes with hormonal shifts. The way my brain functioned felt different, especially memory, focus and clarity.
What do you wish you knew before becoming a mum?
That those sleepless and lonely nights in the beginning are only in the beginning and are just very small chapters in your life. The difference between the first and second baby was like night & day.

Do you have any tips or tricks to manage the day-to-day juggle?
On the days that I can, I will set my alarm at least 20 mins before my boys are awake. I will then oil pull and meditate. On the days that I do get to do this, my day is honestly the best and I feel much more energised, plus I get to start the day with something for myself.
How do you manage your time to fit in career, being a mum, relationship and time for you
Time for me? Ha. I’m incredibly lucky to have a husband who’s very hands-on, especially with the kids, so we’re able to share the load. There are definitely seasons — like right now — where balance is hard to find and work takes up a big part of our lives. But when things ease up, we make a point to carve out time each week for a date night or to see friends.
I’m also really intentional about the time I spend with my kids, being fully present with them matters a lot to me.
Looking after myself usually falls to the bottom of the list (no surprise there), but I do try to fit in some kind of workout at least three times a week.

Who is in your village and you couldn’t live without?
My husband, my mum (via phone), and my girlfriends.
You can’t leave home without:
- My water bottle
- Unseen Sunscreen SPF 50
- Ole Henriksen Pout Preserve Peptide Lip Treatment
- Typology Paris Radiance Serum L32
- Water Wipes (for my kids)
Your favourite holiday spot?
Sayulita, Mexico. We usually stay on the hill overlooking the town, amongst the treetops. First visited only 5 years ago.
Why do you love this place?
It’s a cute little beach town with a laid-back fishing village feel, known for its surf and set against a lush, tropical backdrop of jungle and wildlife.
The water is crystal clear, the food is incredible, and there are so many small beaches and coves — some perfect for surfing, others ideal for little kids to wade in.
It’s a quick, easy flight for us, and it’s almost always hot and sunny, which I love.

Next on the travel list?
Pantelleria — we were supposed to have our honeymoon there but never made it.
Your favourite brand and why?
Lucy Folk. Timeless pieces with attention to detail. Authentic craftsmanship.
The trend you’re loving right now
A mix of relaxed luxury and comfort.
The trend you can’t get on board with
Low-rise baggy jeans.
What’s your latest brand discovery?
Good question — I am not much of a fashion gal.
Where do you do most of your fashion shopping?

A healthy lifestyle means…
A healthy balance of work and play, eating intelligently, moving your body and rest.
How do you keep your body moving?
I’m naturally active running around after two young kids, but when I do get time to work out, I love weight training, yoga, or a good HIIT class.
Most days though, it’s a walk on the beach… which does just as much for my mind as it does for my body.
Your top tips for living a healthy lifestyle?
Stock your fridge with healthy food. Try to carve out time for meditation, even if it’s 10 mins a day. Turn a social outing into some sort of movement/activity. Get outside more. Strive for balance across all lifestyle choices.
Do you have any non-negotiables?
Eating good, nourishing foods, drinking plenty of water. Being active every day.
What does “balance” mean to you?
Balance to me is when I have flexibility in my day and when I feel like my physical, mental, emotional and social needs are being fulfilled.

What led or inspired you to start mumms?
mumms was an idea long before I became a mother myself.
I saw friends lose confidence as they struggled with hair loss — some after having babies, others during perimenopause, and my mum alongside her friends through menopause.
It was hard to watch, and even more surprising to realise there wasn’t a single haircare solution designed specifically for women going through these hormonal shifts.
It felt like something women were expected to just accept, largely because there wasn’t an option that was both effective and safe. That’s what led me to create mumms: a clean, effective and healthy solution, specifically tailored to support women experiencing hair loss during hormonal transitions.

What has been the best thing about launching mumms?
Seeing and hearing the incredible results that mumms is delivering is just the best. We’re constantly receiving feedback from women sharing the transformative experiences they’ve had once mumms becomes part of their daily routine.
What is the most challenging thing about launching mumms?
Carving out the time to give it the attention it truly deserves has been the biggest challenge. Alongside mumms, I work as a consultant in the beauty and personal care industry, as well as a stylist and set designer.
So mumms has been built in the margins of late nights and early mornings.
What’s carried it forward is a genuine passion and a deep belief in what this formula can do for so many women.
Is there anything new/exciting happening at mumms in the near future that you can fill us in on?
Well, let’s just say that we are not only going to be on your bathroom counter/cabinet — we will be in your shower very soon.
You and your husband are both creatives and work together at The Factory Digital and mumms. What is the best thing about that?
I’d be lying if I said it’s been smooth from day one. Those early days of building the agency and figuring out how we each work definitely had their moments. But now, we genuinely love working together.
We’ve found our rhythm, we understand each other’s strengths, and we respect each other’s space on set.
I’m constantly in awe of Chris’s natural eye — something he says I complement, so I guess we’re pretty lucky.
There are times we find ourselves on a job in some tropical location, having one of those pinch-me moments, realising we get to do this alongside our best friend and partner.

What is the most challenging thing about this?
The only real challenge is when one of the kids is sick… if it’s a job we both need to be on, it quickly turns into a bring-your-kid-to-work kind of day.
