Can you tell us a little about you and your family:
I’m married with three kids: Lara is 8, Hardy is 5, and Carter is nearly 2.
Adjusting to motherhood…
My first child wasn’t a huge adjustment. Lara was an easy baby, and we took her everywhere. The biggest adjustment came with the next two. I’d say the hardest thing to adapt to was the lack of sleep-it’s a different kind of tired that nothing prepares you for.
How do you manage the juggle?
I don’t love the word ‘juggle’ – it just is what it is. I’ve learned to set boundaries, especially after stretching myself too thin in the early days of my business. Learning to say no was a game-changer.
The best thing about motherhood?
Watching my kids become their own little people. It’s amazing how different they are, even with the same parents and upbringing. I love nurturing them and watching them grow.
The biggest challenge?
Patience. I think I’m a patient person, but staying calm all the time is hard. Guilt is also a big one – it never really goes away.
The biggest surprise?
I have a constant fear of losing them or something happening to them, especially in the world we live in. I never thought about that much before having kids, but now it’s always in the back of my mind.
What do you wish you knew before becoming a mum?
That it’s a marathon, not a sprint. I also wish I’d known how important it is to take time for myself without guilt-I’m a much better mum now that I do. The mental load is real.

Any advice to a new mum or soon-to-be-mum?
Don’t be so hard on yourself. There’s no medal for doing it all. Your kids are happiest when you’re happiest.
“Trust yourself and don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. Every mum and every baby is different.”
Any advice to manage the day-to-day juggle?
Not rushing is key. With kids who have separation anxiety, I’ve learned that patience and planning make a big difference. I also plan meals ahead to make life easier.
How do you manage to fit everything in?
Honestly, my husband gets left behind a bit, but we know it’s just a phase. We try to do date nights when we can, and we’re lucky to have family support.
Who is in your village?
I’ve always been open to support and help – I think that’s really important. Some people struggle with it, but I believe having others involved in our kids’ lives is a good thing. My village is made up of my in-laws, my mum and a great group of parents from school. I rely on them even more than family now. The community support is so important.
What do you wish people spoke more about when it comes to motherhood?
This hasn’t directly affected me, but you become aware how many people struggle with falling pregnant. I’m so grateful my pregnancy journey was straightforward. However, watching others suffer is heartbreaking, and I feel conversations around this need to be a priority.

Your favourite holiday spot?
Taking our caravan to Port Fairy, and we love our holidays in Noosa.
They’re two very different places. We love Port Fairy in the caravan because it’s all about family time, switching off and relaxing. Noosa is the other end of the scale – more luxe with a holiday vibe.
Next on the travel list?
Anywhere! We had planned a big European trip for our honeymoon, but we fell pregnant with our first child and haven’t done it yet. Europe is absolutely still on the list.
Your favourite brand?
Raef Label. We’re working on some incredible things at the moment, but I’ve loved the label since before I started working with them. Great value for money, quality pieces, and I can wear them for work or on the go.
Trend you’re loving right now?
Caps. I have so many. My favourite brand is Neo Vision-they’re unisex and I love them.
Trend you can’t get on board with?
So many! I’d say graphic tees. I tend to stay away from trends, brands and products that are oversaturated. Dresses aren’t my thing either.
Latest brand discovery?
Primi – I love their basics.
Where do you do most of your shopping?
Online. I love vintage and denim. I used to love Restated Vintage, but that’s recently closed. My go-to now is Above the Clouds. I love their menswear -I don’t love their women’s products because of the shape and sizing. I hate tight clothes; I love oversized.

A healthy lifestyle means…
When I think of health, I think of mental health. Looking after yourself in a way that gives you ‘you’ time. Exercise and healthy eating are key. For me, most of it comes down to food and portions.
How do you keep your body moving?
Reformer Pilates three times a week (Tutti’s – Bell Post). I run every second day – the distance and how long I run for depends on how I feel, usually around 45 minutes. It’s the one activity where I truly switch off.
Your top tips for living a healthy lifestyle?
1. Prioritise time for yourself.
2. Start slowly and build it into your routine.
3. Don’t set high expectations.
4. Eat healthily and plan meals ahead.
5. Be flexible, prioritise sleep, and don’t be too hard on yourself.
Do you have any non-negotiables?
I drink a lot of water every day. Movement – like Pilates, running and walking – and taking time for myself is so important. It makes me a better mum, partner and person.
What does “balance” mean to you?
That it’s not possible – there’s no such thing! I love the quote, “You can have it all, but not all at once.” That’s what balance means to me. It’s not going to be even time across all areas of life.
